About

Victoria Baxter, B.A., B.Sc., R.D.
Hi, I'm Victoria!
I am a registered dietitian based out of Calgary, Alberta, and the founder of Lil' Beets Nutrition. Inspired by science, nutrition, and a love of working with children and parents, I began my career as pediatric dietitian at the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital in Saskatchewan working with tube fed children and infants recently discharged from the neonatal intensive care unit. After moving to Alberta in 2021, I worked in multiple other inpatient and outpatient prenatal, neonatal, and pediatric roles within Alberta Health Services before starting my own private practice.
I specialize in pre and post natal, infant, child, adolescent, and young adult nutrition. Whether you and your baby were recently discharged from the hospital and need support with the transition, are working through childhood food allergies, introducing solids, struggling with a picky eater, conflict around food in the home, have a neurodivergent child with sensory and texture sensitivities, or maybe want to work on making quick and healthy meals while in university, I will support you in nourishing your family. I strive to create a non-judgmental and empathic environment, providing advice and strategies specific to each parent, child, and family.
